The Catalans suffered right to the end but close the week with another win
The match began with a constant tug-of-war between both teams, though it was Barça's dominance of the rebound led by Pustovyi, Davies and Smits that helped them to end the first quarter slightly ahead (20-17).
However, a run of 11 points without reply for Fuenlabrada put them in front on the scoreboard (22-28), an advantage that they maintained throughout the second period. In fact, Barça's lack of success at the basket saw the visitors up by four at the break (31-35).
The third quarter didn't start well for the hosts either, and a 0-5 meant that Barça were nine points behind the team Madrid. Abrines, with two triples, led Barça's comeback, and as they eventually drew level (47-47) thanks to a basket from Davies. A late flourish from Fuenlabrada meant they took the lead into the last quarter (56-59).
Victory at the horn
Thanks to Davies and Bolmaro, Barça somehow managed to claw themselves past the visitors with four seconds to play. At 81-79, and the last possession for the visitors, Novak missed his shot and the win for Barça was assured.
