Barça 107-88 Casademont Zaragoza: Another big win

High scoring game leaves Barça 20-3 in the ACB regular season

FC Barcelona beat Casademont Zaragoza at the Palau this evening (107-88), in a game that was mainly won in the second period, which they ended +11. Davies (20) and Hanga (17) led the scoring.

Both sides were strong in offence in an opening period that ended 26-26, and it was then that Barça truly put their feet on the gas. The defensive intensity that had been missing earlier on was also a factor, and they were +16 before Zaragoza found some form before the break.

They continued to so after the restart, and an 8-16 streak tightened things up again. With Hanga matching his personal best of four threes in the ACB, the Aragonese comeback was thwarted and going into the final period the scoring rates from both sides suddenly dropped, Barça doing a fantastic job of controlling the rhythm.

A 9-0 streak towards the end finally put the game to bed, and a 100+ score equated to the eleventh consecutive victory in the competition..
