Fraikin BM Granollers 22-32 Barça: Cup final here we come

The Barça handball team are just a game away from lifting another trophy. Xavi Pascual's team have reached the final of the Copa del Rey in Madrid thanks to a 32-22 win over Granollers in the semi final. Sunday at 7.15pm CET will see them face Ademar León, the only team standing between the blaugranes and an eighth Copa del Rey in a row. 

After beating Logroño on Thursday in the quarter final, Granollers awaited in the semi final. Barça raced into a 4-1 lead but a fight back from their Catalan rivals saw the game levelled up at 11-11.

Barça went in at the break 12-11 ahead but after the restart Granollers went ahead for the first team at 14-13. 

However, this was the point in which Xavi Pascual's side let loose and six unanswered goals saw them move 27-16 ahead. From that moment on there was only going to be one winner and the 32-22 win sees them book place in Sunday's showdown in Madrid with León.
