Barça 28-24 Logroño: Into the semi finals

Victory for Barça in the Wizink Center in Madrid as they make it to the semi finals of the Copa del Rey. Xavi Pascual's team ran out 28-24 winners against Logroño in the quarter final in a good test for the blaugranes. 

Logroño started well but soon Barça were 4-1 up. The opponents for the blaugranes came back and after 19 minutes there was just one goal in it with Barça 8-7 up. At half time Pascual's team had a slender 14-11 lead.

In the second half Barça kept their noses ahead and as their rivals began to tire, the Catalans stretched their advantage to take a 28-24 win. On Saturday they will now face Granollers in the semi final as they continue their quest for a eighth Copa del Rey title in a row.
