Viveros Herol BM Nava 21-45 Barça: Impressive win to end the month

The blaugranes show intensity and hunger to remain unbeaten

An unstoppable Barça ended the month with a 45-21 away win at Viveros, their ninth win in February, a game that the blaugranes dominated from start to finish.

After an emotional minute's silence at the start of the game to pay tribute to Porto goalkeeper Alfredo Quintana who passed away this week at the age of just 32, the game got under way with Quintana's team mate in the Portuguese national side Frade dedicating his first goal to his memory.

An electric first half from the visitors gave them a 25-12 lead at half time. In the second half the blaugranes extended their dominance with Jordi González again appearing in between the posts and youngster Artur Parera again figuring after debuting earlier in the week against Celje in the Champions League.

A 45-21 win sealed a perfect February in all competitions on an emotional evening for Xavi Pascual's team.
