The 2020/21 UEFA Youth League has been officially cancelled. UEFA's Executive Committee has taken the decision after considering that the public health crisis brought on by the Covid-19 pandemic shows no sign of improvement in Europe at the current time and with many governments imposing restrictions on international travel, two clubs had already decided not to take part in the competition.
UEFA had changed the format of the competition for this season to make all ties one legged. On 27 January the draw for the last 64 of the competition had taken place in which the Barça U19A side were paired with Ukrainian club Dynamo Kyiv. That tie will not now take place.
