Antequera 2-2 Barça: The win slips away

A goal from Nando with one minute to go earns the hosts a draw

Andreu Plaza's side drew against Antequera, Nando's goal with just over a minute to go earning the hosts a point. It was a very entertaining game, with a lot of chances for both teams, and the point means Barça are now eight games unbeaten.

Fast start

Both teams came out with all guns blazing at the start, and even before Adolfo had given Barça the lead in the fourth minute, both goalkeepers had been called into action. Antequera were soon back into the match with a shot from Vargas (min 8), and only the woodwork stopped Daniel from putting Barça ahead again soon after.

After the break, Lozano restored Barça's lead thanks to some great combination play with Adolfo and Esquerdinha (1-2, min 23). However, with Antequera playing with a goalkeeper-player, the pressure eventually told and a goal from Nando in the last seconds saw victory slip away for Barça (2-2, min 39).

Barça will play the final of the Spanish Super Cup against Inter next Monday, January 11, while on Friday January 15, it's the return of the Champions League with a round of 32 match against Prishtina Kosovar in the Palau.
