The leaders rack up another win in the Euroleague at the Palau Blaugrana after dominating from start to finish against Russian side Khimki. Jasikevicius' team shrugged off a bright start by the visitors to take the victory with Mirotic scoring 24 points and Higgins 20 points in the contest. 

High scoring start 

Barça quelled a bright initial period from Khimki and after just six minutes they were up 24-15. Some 12 points from Mirotic and eight from Higgins allowed the blaugranes to take a 32-25 at the end of the first quarter. 

Jasikevicius' team used their effectiveness from the three point line to more into a 51-41 lead at half time. In the third quarter a three pointer from Abrines held the lead at 10 at 61-51 before an improvement in offensive rebounding allowed them to stretch the advantage to 69-53 at the end of the quarter. 

Closing out

Khimki came back with Barça paying the price for turnovers and the lead was reduced to eight at 72-64. Nevertheless, nine unanswered points took the lead to +17 at 81-64 and from there the result was never in doubt. With the final score 87-74, Barça recorded their 11th win in 14 games in the Euroleague and they remain top of the table.
