ElPozo Múrcia 0–3 Barça: A win with authority

Goals from Dyego, Lozano and Dídac ensure Andreu Plaza’s men continue to climb up the table

A month and a half after the Champions League final at the Palau Blaugrana, Barça and El Pozo Múrcia met again. Just as happened at the Palau, the game ended with a Barça win, and the victory for Andreu Plaza's team ensured they continue to climb up the table.

ElPozo Múrcia certainly didn't make it easy for the blaugranes, particularly in the opening exchanges. However, little by little Barça got their act together and ended up controlling the game. Dyego and Lozano made it 2-0 before half-time, the former scoring with a volley after finishing off a corner (0-1, min 12) and the latter's brilliant individual play giving the visitors a real lift (0-2, min 19).

The dynamic changed after the break with ElPozo much more focused in attack, and it was then that Barça keeper, Dídac, came to the fore.

Didac, MVP

Consistent excellence laid the platform for Barça to extend their lead, including a double penalty save from Marcel's shot (36 minutes). The pressure from the hosts was intense, but just when it looked like they might get back in the game Dídac took matters into his own hands and scored the goal to end any thoughts of an ElPozo fightback (0-3, min 38).
