Electoral announcement

In accordance with the Articles 35 and 43 of the Club Statutes, the Management Committee have agreed to call elections for the FC Barcelona Board of Directors. Voting will take place on March 7th, 2021, from 9am to 9pm, simultaneously at the various electoral venues established for voting. 

The Managing Commission would like to underline the fact that the elections are conditioned by the exceptional circumstances brought about by the Covid-19 pandemic, and they will be organised in such a way to follow the indications and instructions of the health authorities to protect and guarantee the health of voters. 

For that every reason the elections will be held for the first time in a decentralised fashion with 6 polling stations: Barcelona, Girona, Tarragona, Tortosa, Lleida and Andorra la Vella. There will be an electoral census and so members will be able to vote at their assigned polling stations using their residential postcode. 

This will also be the first time that FC Barcelona has offered the possibility of postal voting to all members residing in Catalonia, elsewhere in Spain and Andorra.

As such, a high turnout is encouraged with also the aim of reducing travel and crowds.
