Barça came flying out of the blocks in this one, and it was no surprise when Pablo Álvarez put Edu Castro's side ahead (1-0, min 9). However, a blue card for Matias Pascual saw the visitors take advantage of the numerical superiority, Raúl Marín drawing them level (1-1, min 15). The lead only lasted three minutes as João Rodrigues put the hosts back in front. 

Equality to the end

The second half began with Pablo Álvarez hitting the woodwork in the first few seconds. Reus were quickly on terms again through Marín, however (2-2, min 29). Barça continued to look for the winning goal, and thought they'd scored it on 45, Pablo Álvarez getting his second of the game. With less than three minutes remaining, it was Marín, again, who found the net to make the final score 3-3.
