Barça 97-55 Fenerbahce: Noteworthy win

A great performance from Jasikevicius' team to strengthen their grip on top spot in the Euroleague

A show of strength from Barça in the Euroleague with a comprehensive 97-55 win over Fenerbahce at home in the Palau Blaugrana. Kyle Kuric scored 7 of 8 three pointers to score a personal record 25 points with Rolands Smits chipping in with 20 points as the blaugranes recorded their seventh win in eight matches in Europe.

Free scoring start 

Barça started the contest well as the teams exchanged points early on. However, the home side soon stretched ahead 28-17 thanks to the points scoring of Mirotic and Abrines. Jasikevicius' team were able to call on various options going forward in attack and before long their advantage was an amazing 51-29 over the Turkish giants. Eight from 14 three pointers was key as were 12 steals as Smits began to rack up the points. 

No mercy 

The defensive and offensive intensity did not waver and the lead was soon over 30 points. At the end of the third period Barça led 69-38 and in the fourth quarter it exceeded 40 points as the blaugranes closed out victory number seven from eight matches in the Euroleague.
