Barça 4-1 Calafell: Workmanlike victory at the Palau

A win in the Palau Blaugrana for Edu Castro's side who are now totally focused on the domestic league following the suspension of European fixtures until the end of December. Goals from Nil Roca, João, Panadero and Pau Bargalló secured victory in the Palau Blaugrana against a cautious Calafell side. 

Early on in the game both goalkeepers, Sergi Fernández and Xano Edo, made excellent saves but as the half progressed Barça assumed control. Nil Roca put the blaugranes ahead on the quarter of an hour mark and then just two minutes later João doubled the lead with a deflected effort. 

Panadero added a third from a Pablo Álvarez pass and before the break Bargalló pretty much settled the game with a fourth. 

The second half saw pride at stake with the result a foregone conclusion. Calafell keeper Edo denied the home side on several occasions and the visitors pulled one back through Pellizari on 46 minutes. Nevetherless, Barça held on comfortably for the win at the Palau Blaugrana.
