Barça v Liceo: Defeat in an intense game (3-4)

Edu Castro's side lose against the Galicians in a match that was notable for the intensity from both sides throughout

Barça fell to their first defeat in the OK League 2020/21, and despite scoring three goals in an entertaining and intense encounter, it still wasn't enough to topple Liceo. João Rodrigues gave the hosts an early lead but three goals from Jordi Adroher, Roberto di Benedetto and César Carballeria saw the visitors take control.

Helder Nunes briefly got Barça back into the match, only for Jordi Adroher to score from a direct free-kick to restore the advantage. Nunes' second, a penalty, was nothing more than a consolation. This defeat was also the first since matchday one of the last league season, in which Barça didn't lose a game: 26 consecutive victories in domestic competition.
