HBC Nantes 27-35 Barça: Big win in France

A fabulous night of European handball at a typically tough place to visit

It’s never easy to win at Nantes, but Barça did it and did it well on Thursday. The 27-35 maintains the culers’ amazing form in the Champions League in front of 4,000 home supporters. That’s three wins out of three in the competition so far.

Barça scored four to no reply to set up a great early lead and although the home side regrouped, they still by three at the interval.

Dika Mem (7 goals) and Palmarsson (MVP with 6) were totally plugged in as Barça moved to +6 with ten minutes to go and the rest of the game was a mere formality, and only saw Barça’s lead get even bigger.

Next up is a League game on Saturday against Liberbank Cantabria BM Sinfín (12.00pm CEST).
