We have a new winner of the Goal of the Month and this time the winner is Luis Suárez for his goal against Celta at Balaídos, the one that came from a free kick in which Leo Messi pulled off an unexpected stunt that worked to perfection, sending the ball onto the Uruguayan's head to open the scoring in Galicia.

It won the vote ahead of Ansu Fati's goal against Leganés, Jordi Alba versus Mallorca and Ivan Rakitic in the game with Athletic Club.

The Goal of the Month competition started in January, although in the April and May editions during Covid-19 lockdown, we instead asked users to vote for their all-time favourite goals in those calendar months.
