OAKA is a track that is always difficult and has a great atmosphere, but in the return of the Euroleague on Friday night, the Catalans triumphed there. The victory, however, wasn't easy, and it took a superb second half comeback to seal the points.
The hosts dominated the opening exchanges, but Barça stayed in contention and a basket from Cory Higgins saw them level the scores (20-20, min 9). The Greek side were again in the ascendency in the second period, going into the break 45-38 up.
Barça weren't finished, and came storming back thanks to some great play and regular scoring from Mirotic, Higgins and Abrines. At the start of the fourth quarter, there was only two points in it (69-67), and the visitors finished much the stronger of the two sides, outscoring their hosts by 12-25 in the last 10 minutes to end the match 81-92.
