Barça earned a hard fought victory at the Palau Blaugrana, beating O Parrulo Ferrol thanks to great performances from Adolfo and Lozano. The 13th league win for the team came right at the end, and leaves Andreu Plaza's side on 41 points in the standings, on a triumphant run that has included victories over Zaragoza and L´Hospitalet.
A first half stalemate
The game reached halftime deadlocked at 0-0, with Barça having pressured the opposition and only seeing their moves cut out by some persistent fouling Joselito and Adolfo both tested the wooldwork in the first period, whilst Arthur, Boyis, Daniel, Dyego and Lozano also enjoyed chances.
Adolfo gets Barça going
It wasn't until the second half that the team began to click in front of goal, but first they would concede to O Parrulo when Hélder found the net, 21 minutes in.
Lozano had a penalty saved by Chemi on 23 minutes, before Adolfo found his scoring groove just two minutes later. He provided the equaliser with a strike into the top corner, then converted a Lozano cross to hand Barça the lead. Lozano was returning to action after a month out injured, and extended the advantage to 3-1 on 28 minutes.
Adolfo grabbed another goal on the half-hour, finishing off a passing move and taking the score to 4-1.
A wild finale
Barça appeared to have the win in the bag, but a goal from Rumbo and an own goal from Boyis got O Parrulo back on terms. It would be up to Adolfo to get the team back in front, and he responded to the challenge with just 2 minutes remaining, scoring to make it 5-4.
Lozano struck again, 33 seconds from time, and although Rumbo would reduce the gap, a 6-5 scoreline handed Barça an important triumph at the Palau Blaugrana.
