Palau Blaugrana opens doors to local schools and clubs as team continues unbeaten run

Barça have won at the Palau Blaugrana in a fantastic game played in front of schoolchildren, something the club has not done for the last two years. On these special occasions, games are an early midweek start and local schools and sports clubs are invited to enjoy live handball, and in this case the eleventh consecutive league win, the latest victim being Liberbank Cantabria Sinfín.

Driven by the young fans in the arena, the Catalans already had the game swen up by the break, leading by a tremendous 22-6.

Cantabria went for it a lot more in the second half, and although they never had much hope of closing the gap, they did ensure that the difference remained at around 20 goals. Still unbeaten in domestic play, attention now returns to Europe and Saturday’s 8.00pm CET start against German champion Flensburg-Handewitt at the Palau Blaugrana.
