Ebro 1-1 Barça B: A deserved point

Ronald Araujo equalised Álvaro González's goal in the final seconds

Barça B drew 1-1 against Ebro thanks to a goal from Ronald Araujo in the final play of the game. That's now five games unbeaten (two wins and three draws), allowing the Blaugranes to move closer to the play-off positions.

Garcia Pimienta's side began dominating the rhythm of play and had the best chances early in the game, but both Ludovit Reis and Riqui Puig were unable to convert. Kike Saverio had the clearest chance of the first half but Loscos stood tall to make the save.

Just after half-time, Iñaki Peña failed to hold onto a ball delivered into the box and Álvaro González sent it into the bottom of the net. Ebro then decided to play much more defensively, making it difficult for Barça.

With time up and everything indicating a loss for the visitors, Ronald Araujo popped up to score a 94th minute equaliser. Barça B's next game will be on Sunday 17 (6.00pm CET) at the Johan Cruyff Stadium, where they will play Cornellà.
