With ElPozo Múrcia needing one more win to secure the league and in front of a packed Palacio de los Deportes preparing to see their team crowned champions, Andreu Plaza’s side pooped the party and forced the LNFS final series into a fifth and decisive game – and with home adavtange in that match, Barça are right back in the driving seat.

A hat-trick from a superlative Adolfo, a brace from the ever-effective Ferrao, a goal from Esquerdinha just when it mattered most and some wonderful saves from Juanjo mean that Barça are very much still alive going into what promises to a pulsating game five.

And it’s just reward for a team that took its duties seriously, played with conviction and got just about everything right on Monday evening. From defence to attack, they did what they had to do against one of the toughest opponents in the game…
