Being like Messi for a day will be easier than ever this summer. In July and August the Miniestadi will be the venue for the Messi10 Challenge LaLiga Summer Edition, organized by the promotors of the show Messi 10 by Cirque du Soleil, which will open in Barcelona on October 10.
The Messi10 Challenge LaLiga Summer Edition, which will run from 9.30am to 7.30pm, will have six events in four tents. Visitors, who will be in groups of 12 players with a maximum of 2 partners per participant, must pass the different challenges in 35 minutes.
This experience based on the Barça captain will combine physical ability and technology. The first challenge will be a Quiz about the Argentinian star, similar to a TV game show, in which the participants will have to answer 10 questions about Messi's life and career.
After the first challenge, participants in the Messi10 Challenge LaLiga Summer Edition will get to feel what it's like to step onto the field. In this tent, the players will have to pass several physical and technical tests.
In the last tent, visitors will find a tougher challenge: the Robokeeper, which they will have to beat from the penaly spot, something Messi was able to do after several attempts.
