One of Barcelona's most emblematic streets woke up to a new look on Tuesday, as the Barça Store on Passeig de Gracia showed off a giant canvas facade displaying the 2019/20 FC Barcelona kit.

The shirt for next season had been unveiled the previous day, featuring a chequered pattern for the first time in the club's history -a design inspired by the layout of the city's Eixample neighbourhood.

Across town, the Barça Store at the Camp Nou held a special event, attended by over 600 people, to make an early purchase of the new shirt. Players present were Marc-André ter Stegen and Riqui Puig, accompanied by FC Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu, sporting vice-president Jordi Mestre, and secretary of the board and head of women's football, Maria Teixidor.
