It wasn't to be. Barca Lassa fell in the cruelest way against Vardar (27-29) in which nothing went right for about 10 minutes. After dominating the first half with authority and going into halftime up seven, the Macedonian team reacted in the second half with great defense and success on attack to take the triumph. Thus, Barça misses the final and on Sunday will have to play the 3rd and 4th place game against Kielce (3.15pm).
