The Malian player was in Barcelona and took some time out to revisit his Barça past
Seydou Keita visited FC Barcelona on Tuesday, exactly eight years to the day the team won the 2011 Champions League title at Wembley Stadium. And the Malian midfielder celebrated it by visiting the FC Barcelona museum, part of a report he was taking part in for Canal + France.
Keita recalled that memorable final, as well as the four years he wore the blaugrana shirt (2008-2012). He also spoke about Leo Messi, with whom he shared the dressing room. "He is an extraordinary player," Keita said. "He's been at an elite level for 10 years but he's still the same. It will be very tough to ever see anything like it."
