Barça Lassa are smiling again after their setback in Europe and have now gone for all 28 games in the domestic league without being beaten once. Today’s game in Lleida wasn’t decided until the second half, with the goals flying in at both ends, but mainly that of the opposition. Pablo Álvarez claimed four of them against a side playing without their suspended captain Andreu Tomás.

That was Edu Castro’s one hundredth win as head coach, and his team are now just two games away from completing an entire league season without defeat. There’s a tricky game next up though, home at the Palau against Reus.
