SD Teucro 21–35 Barça Lassa: The champion doesn't tire of winning

Barça remain unbeaten in the Asobal League and win again in Pontevedra

Xavi Pascual's side were victorious against SD Teucro (21-35) in the 28th round of the Asobal League. The league champions will have to play two more matches, first at the Palau Blaugrana against Ángel Ximénez and finally visiting Bada Huesca, before the semifinals of the VELUX EHF Final Four against Vardar in Cologne (June 1).

Mastery from beginning to end

Barça dominated the game from the first whistle, and a strong partial of 2-9 in the first 15 minutes, gave the culers a clear advantage. The locals tried to react (8-11), but Xavi Pascual's men put their feet on the accelerator again to go into the break 9-15 up.

In the second half, a great physical game from Barça Lassa took the score to 11-22, a distance that would be insurmountable for Teucro. In the last few minutes, the visitors upped the tempo again to win by 14 goals (21-35). Ilic was the top goal scorer with 8 goals, followed by the Mamadou Diocou with six.

Debuts for David Roca and Jorge Pérez

Another positive were the debuts of two young players. David Roca, on the right wing, played in the first half, while in the second goalkeeper Jorge Pérez also premiered in Barça's goal.
