Intel, FC Barcelona’s new global sponsor, will donate one computer to the FC Barcelona Foundation per goal scored by the first team for the next two months. The project, which began with the match against Villarreal, will run until February 14.
There are nine matches on the first team’s schedule between now and February 14, and each goal that Barça score will bring a new computer to the Foundation. The Foundation will donate the computers to different projects in Barcelona. Before each match, an announcement will be made indicating which organisation or center will be the recipient of the computers.
Director Ramon Pont, first vice president of the Foundation, received the first shipment of computers from Intel representative, David Haroldsen.
