The ‘Tant se val d’on venim’ campaign was launched a few weeks ago, whereby everyone that donates six euros to support the refugees is entered into a prize draw to win a shirt signed by the FC Barcelona players.
The winner, Ernest Castelltort, received his shirt on Tuesday from FCB vice-president Jordi Cardoner.
There are plenty more prizes where that one came from and donors will continue to be entered into draws to win them.
‘Tant se val d’on venim’ is a campaign being run by the FC Barcelona Foundation. It’s not just about raising money, it’s also about raising awareness of the plight of the thousands of people fleeing into Europe as a result of the conflicts in Syria, Afghanistan, Iraq and other countries. It is also working in close collaboration with the Red Cross, the international organisation with the greatest experience of dealing with migratory crises like this, and which is responsible for ensuring that the money reaches the right places.
