Barça Lassa 83-74 Khimki Moscow: Ending on a high

The final game of the Euroleague regular seasons leaves the Catalans with an 18-12 record and a playoff against Anadolu Efes of Turkey to look forward to

Barça Lassa have ended the Euroleague regular season on a winning note against Khimki Moscow in a tight and offensive game that wasn’t decided until the very end.

The high-scoring first period ended 21-32 with the Russians moving into a two-figure lead with a charge towards the end. But things swung the other way in the second period, with the visitors only managing 11 points and Barça leading by one at the break.

The third period saw both sides making key errors, but ultimately it was more about exchanges of points, leaving no clear leader going into the last ten minutes.

Barça Lassa finally tipped the balance when it mattered most. Some quick turnovers opened up a gap and eventually the win to end the regular season on an 18-12 record.

As was already known going into the match. Barça will faces Anadolu Efes of Turkey in the quarter final playoffs. The first of the best-of-five series is on Wednesday 17 April at 7.00pm CET in the Sinan Erdem, Istanbul.
