Szymon Mlynarczyk begins enjoying his prize from the FCBEscola Warsaw Literary Contest

The young Pole won the contest with a story inspired by Xavi Hernández

Polish youngster Szymon Wieslaw Mlynarczyk is in Barcelona to enjoy his prize after winning the First Literary Contest of FCBEscola Warsaw, which was held on the occasion of the book fair of the country’s capital.

The prize consists of a trip to Barcelona to attend the match at Camp Nou between FC Barcelona and Málaga on Saturday, 19 November, and a visit to the Camp Nou Experience the following day.

Mlynarczyk won the contest with a story inspired by the legendary Barça midfielder Xavi Hernández under the title of "Marzenie", which means "to dream".

In addition to the trip and the experience of visiting Camp Nou and a tour of the facilities, he also won a shirt signed by Lionel Messi, Neymar and Luis Suárez, as well as a book about Messi.

FC Barcelona participated in the Warsaw Book Fair, held at the city’s National Stadium, along with the Ramon Llull Institute. The event, which received more than 60 texts, was also attended by Carles Vilarrubí, FC Barcelona's Vice President of International and Institutional Relations.
