Only two other teams - Maccabi and Zalgiris Kaunas - have managed to complete a perfect start of five wins in five games in the Euroleague. This evening at 7 pm Barça will take on Brose Baskets in Germany determined to make it six out of six a week after the morale-boosting victory against their main rival in Group D, CSKA Moscow (60-81).

Barça followed up their epic performance in Russia with another record-breaking display of defensive and attacking strength on Sunday against Assignia Manresa (89-47). Having started off the ACB season with two defeats, Barça now seem to be getting into top gear with nine wins in their last ten games. The first of these wins came against tonight’s opponent, Brose Baskets, in the Palau Blaugrana (72-60).

But Barça Regal are not the only in-form team. Brose Baskets are fourth in Group D but have won their last two European outings against LietuvosRytas (84-78) and Partisan (72-77). Meanwhile, in the German league, they have won their last four games and lie second in the table (won 6, lost 1) behind Ratiopharm Ulm (7-2), though with two games in hand.
