Excellent record at La Romareda for FC Barcelona

The Blaugrana visit La Romareda this Sunday, a stadium where they've come away with points 38 times of the 59 matches they've played there

FC Barcelona have a great record against Zaragoza at La Romareda. In fact, the Blaugrana have won 21 matches and tied 17 out of a total of 59 games played in the Aragon capital.

The team managed by Manolo Jiménez have been flirting with the relegation zone for weeks now and Barça come into the match knowing that they will be league leaders no matter what the outcome of the match is. The Blaugrana hold a 13 point-advantage over Real Madrid, who are in second.

Worrisome drought

Zaragoza have gone 13 weeks without winning in the league. The most recent victory for the Aragon-based side was against Athletic Club Bilbao by 0 to 2, the game was played on December 12 of 2012.

Four months have gone by since Zaragoza won at the San Mamés, meaning Manolo Jiménez’s men have yet to win in 2013. On the other hand, it’s worth nothing that they managed to secure a point against Real Madrid a couple of weeks ago. A good result against Barça would give Zaragoza a much needed boost in the final stretch of the season.
