Barcelona will be hosting the Swimming world’s top competition this summer as the FINA (the International Swimming Federation) holds its biannual World Championships in the city.
From July 20th until August 4th 2013, the world’s best swimmers will be in Barcelona for to compete in the sports’ various disciplines.
Nearly 200 countries will be providing athletes in the championships’ 6 disciplines – swimming, water polo, synchronised swimming, diving, high diving and open water. The event’s mascot – Xop- will be getting the crowds charged up as the competitors attempt to smash their very best records.
