The day of the Joan Gamper Trophy has been confirmed. It will be earlier than usual on August 2 against a team yet to be confirmed, with Santos one of the biggest posibilities.
As usual, the build-up to the Joan Gamper Trophy will involve several supporters activities, including the XXXIV edition of the World Supporters Clubs Congress on August 1 and 2.
It will be spread over two days as it has been for the last two seasons. The first will be a work day, with the presentation of the framework programs and debates of possible amendments. The second will be the institutional day and will end with the commemorative dinner.
There will also be the XXXVI World Supporters Clubs Meeting with all the usual events, such as meals, debates, leisure and others. We will also be repeating the Botifarra cards tournament and the Penyes Futbol Games for younger members, which were such a success last year, the eighth edition of the International 7-a-side Football Competition.
Over the next few days we will inform on how to apply for the activities, get accreditations for the meeting and register for the football competition. On August we will be welcoming Tito Vilanova back into action in fine style.
