Patric Gabarrón knows what it’s like to score at Celtic Park. The Barça B youngster – one of the 21 players in the Barça squad for tonight’s Champions League game in Glasgow, scored at the Celtic ground two seasons ago in a NextGen Series game. Patric was then part of the Youth A team which ran out 1-3 winners of that match.
Curiously, with Messi out injured, Patric is the only player in the squad which travelled to Glasgow, who has scored at Celtic Parkas a Barça player.
Patric and Sergi Gómez are the two Barça B youngsters Martino has called into the squad for the game, alongside the 19 first team squad members, with the injured Messi, Alba, Mascherano, Puyol, Cuenca and Afellay all missing.
