Leo Messi still improving

Leo Messi is continuing to recover from his hamstring injury in Argentina. Wednesday’s physical examination and echography at the AFA’s facility in Buenos Aires have shown that he is developing favourably from the injury sustained against Betis on November 10.

On Friday he to undergo further tests that should determine when he will be able to start the third phase of his treatment and rehabilitation programme.

Meanwhile, director of sport Andoni Zubizarreta expects to be back for the Getafe v Barça match in Madrid on Sunday 22.
