Baloncesto Fuenlabrada – FC Barcelona: Pullen leads Barça to 73-77 win

Barça's point guard put in his best game of the season with 24 points and a 25 point valuation. The hosts closed the gap in the final minutes, with a partial 12-0 score, but Pascual's side held on

Jacob Pullen led Barça to another win, as the team continued to up their performances with the Top 16 approaching with a 73-77 win over Fuenlabrada.

Pullen lays down a marker ...

With Marcelinho Huertas out, Víctor Sada started and Jacob Pullen enjoyed plenty of court time, really coming into his own in the second quarter, which Barça went into 13-16. The American took control of the game and led the team to a clear 32-41 lead at the break.

Lorbek took over attacking responsibilities in the second half and with a solid, but quick game, Barça were showing just what they are capable of to take a 12 point lead (41-53), before Fuenlabrada started to throw their weight around and close the gap. There was still time for Pullen though, who scored seven points and closed the quarter with a great basket from a speedy break.

The hosts came back strong in the final 10 minutes and led by Panko, they closed the gap to three points -61-64 - with 12 straight points, before  Pullen calmed the visitors nerves with a couple of scores to leave the scoreboard at 66-73 with a couple of minutes left. Both teams missed chances before the end, though Pullen was again on the scoresheet to finish with 24 points as Barça ran out 73-77 winners.
