Nine internationals return to duty

Most of Barça’s international stars are now back on club duty. Marc Andre Ter Stegen, Jasper Cillessen, Nelson Semedo, Ivan Rakitic, JC Todibo, Leo Messi, Carles Aleñá, Samuel Umtiti and Thomas Vermaelen were all back at the Ciutat Esportiva on Wednesday along with the other first team players.

Luis Suárez joined in with part of the exercises, while Cillessen did specific goalkeeping work.

Ernesto Valverde also called upon Morer, Chumi, Busquets, Collado and Riqui Puig of Barça B and youth goalie Pol Tristán.

The team will train again on Thursday at 11.00am CET, where further international stars are due back to join the preparations for Saturday’s derby at home to Espanyol (TICKETS HERE)
