Tello joins Messi, Pedro, Neymar Jr and Alexis, who've all scored hat tricks this season The last hat trick in the Cup was by Messi against Betis on January 12 2011.

Cristian Tello won’t forget the night of January 22,  2014 when the young Catalan scored his first hat trick for the team in their 1-4 win over Levante in the Spanish Cup. Up until now, Tello had only managed a single goal this season, getting on the scoresheet in the win at the Camp Nou over Celtic.

Tello this became the fifth Barça player to score a hat trick this season.

Leo Messi. The first two hat tricks of the season were scored by Messi in the 2-3 league win against Valencia and the 4-0 beating of Ajax in the Champions League. Messi has scored an amazing 24 hat tricks in his career so far – four of them ending in four goals and one in five!

Pedro Rodríguez. The Spanish winger seems to love Madrid, having scored three on the trip to Vallecas where Barça beat Rayo 0-4 and three more in the 2-5 win against Getafe, when he scored three in eight minutes to turn the game around.

Neymar Jr. The Brazilian’s first hat trick for the Club came on December 11, 2013 in the 6-1 Champions League win over Celtic at the Camp Nou. Neymar scored on 43, 46 and 56 minutes.

Alexis Sánchez. After scoring twice in six games for Barça, Alexis Sánchez got his first hat trick for the Club on January 5, 2014, rounding off a memorable performance against Elche with a spectacular free kick.

Cristian Tello. The first Barça player to score a hat trick in the Cup since Messi on January 11, 2011 against Betis  - also in the first leg of the quarter finals. This time, the Argentinean turned provider, setting up all three goals for Tello.
