Manchester City pulled off a heroic win in the fourth round of the FA Cup this Saturday, coming from 0-2 down to snatch a late victory against Watford. The visitors had silenced the Etihad Stadium as goals from Forestieri and Deeney gave Watford a two goal lead after just 30 minutes. Chilean coach Manuel Pellegrini reacted by sending on Kompany and Zabaleta to shore up City’s defence, and Jovetic to join Dzeko and Agüero up front.
Watford defended doggedly for the opening quarter of an hour of the second half but were finally broken down by Argentine striker Kun Agüero. He hit a brace in the 60th and 79th minutes to level the score before Kolarov put City ahead for the first time in the match with just 3 minutes of normal time left. Agüero completed his hat trick in injury time and clinched Manchester City’s place in the fifth round of the FA Cup.
