FC Barcelona scored their 100th official goal of the season this Wednesday evening. The 100th goal was scored by Zubikarai (og), which made it 2-0 in the first leg of the Cup semi-final tie against Real Sociedad. The first goal of the match was scored by Sergio Busquets.

Five players above the 10-goal mark

Of the 100 goals, 59 were scored in the league, 24 in the Cup, 16 in the Champions League and 1 in the Spanish Super Cup. As far as the goal scorers, Leo Messi has scored 19, Pedro 16, Alexis 15, Cesc 12 and Neymar Jr 11. In total, 5 of the 15 players to score this season have netter at least 11 times.

This is the ninth consecutive year that FC Barcelona have scored 100 goals or more in a season. Since the 2004/05 season, when the team netted a total of 84 goals, Barça have always broken the 100-goal barrier. The record of goals scored was set in the 2011/12 season when Barça scored 190 goals.
