The semi-final match, played in Logroño, was decided in the first half. The holders were made to pay dearly for their poor accuracy in front of goal and the all-greens took a two-goal lead, a lead that they would not relinquish for the rest of the match. Inter Movistar went on to increase their lead in the second half.
