Eighth ACB Liga for Navarro and the first for nine of his teammates

Dorsey, Pullen, Nachbar, Papanikolaou, Lampe, Tomic, Abrines, Todorovic and Hezonja won the League title for the first time with Barça on Thursday, while it was Navarro's eighth go around

A title is always special. But if it’s your first, it’s more important. The FC Barcelona players clinched the Liga Endesa title this Thursday, and fore nine of them it was their first league crown – Dorsey, Pullen, Nachbar, Papanikolaou, Lampe, Tomic, Abrines, Todorovic and Hezonja. On the other hand, Navarro (8), Sada (5), Marcelinho Huertas (3), Lorbek (3) and Oleson (2) have won the title in past seasons.

Juan Carlos Navarro has won a total of eight Liga Endesa titles at FC Barcelona. He’s followed by Víctor Sada, who has five. Marcelinho Huertas secured his second title at Barça and his third since he arrived to Spain. Oleson, who won his first title with Laboral Kutxa, won his first league title for Barça this Thursday.

Lorbek has won three Liga Endesa titles as a blaugrana. The Slovenian, however, has also won the Italian League title (04/05) and the Russian League title (08/09).

Debutant winners in the ACB

The title won on Thursday was celebrated heartily, especially by the players who had conquered their first ACB Liga title: Dorsey, Pullen, Nachbar, Papanikolaou, Lampe, Tomic, Abrines, Todorovic and Hezonja.

Papanikolaou and Dorsey had already won the Greek League in the 2011/12 season with Olumpiacos, while Nachbar had won the Slovenian League with Olimpija (97/98), the Italian League with Benetton Treviso (01/02) and the German League with Brose Basket Bamber (12/13).
