Barça's preseason schedule takes shape

The handball team will start their preseason on August 4. Preseason matches against Minden and Toulouse have been scheduled as the first games for the blaugrana.

Minden and Toulouse

The two first friendlies Barça will play will be outside of Spain. The first will be in Germany against Minden on August 19 at 7:30 PM CET.

The German team will celebrate their 90th anniversary in the match against Barça. Minden play in the powerful German league, where they finished 14th last season.

Once against Barça will face off against Toulouse this preseason. In the run-up to the 2013/14 season, Barça took on the French team. The game is scheduled for August 28 at 8:00 PM CET at the Palais des Sports André Brouat.

Super Globe schedule

The Clubs World Cup, of which Barça are the reigning champions, will be played from September 7 through 12 in Doha, Qatar.

On the 7th at 7:15 PM CET, Barça will make their debut against Al Saad Sports Club. On the 8th at 5:00 PM CET, Sydney University of Australia will take on the blaugrana. The following day, at 5:00 PM CET, Esperance Sportive will be Barça’s rival.

On Friday the 12th, the rest of the matches will be played in order to establish the final standings of the Super Globe 2014.
