Luis Enrique to attend UEFA Coaches Forum on September 3 and 4

FC Barcelona will be represented for the first time since Tito Vilanova attended in 2012

Luis Enrique will be one of the guests at the 16th UEFA Elite Club Coaches Forum in Nyon on September 3 and 4. This will be the first time that he has attended the event that is traditionally held just before the start of the Champions League. The last time FC Barcelona was represented was by Tito Vilanova in 2012.

To be chaired by former Manchester United manager Sir Alex Fergusson, the Forum is an ideal opportunity for managers to get their heads together and discuss various matters regarding the game. The meeting will start at 4 PM CET on September 3 and finish the day after at 12.00 PM CET. The first day’s agenda includes competitive and technical issues in relation to the UEFA Champions League. The second day will examine other competitions, such as the UEFA Youth League and international football, as well as matters regarding refereeing and discipline.

The manager that will be joining Luis Enrique in Switzerland include Arsène Wenger (Arsenal), Josep Guardiola (Bayern Munich), José Mourinho (Chelsea), Jürgen Klopp (Borussia Dortmund), Manuel Pellegrini (Manchester City), Filippo Inzaghi (AC Milan), Massimiliano Allegri (Juventus), Carlo Ancelotti (Real Madrid), Laurent Blanc (Paris Saint-Germain) and Unai Emery (Sevilla).
