Douglas learns some Barça history and admires past glories “I want to be part of Barça history”

New signing Douglas Pereira took a crash course in the 115 year history of FC Barcelona on Saturday when he visited the Club museum, and later told us, “I want to become part of the history of FC Barcelona”.

He posed for photos with the many fans enjoying the ‘Camp Nou Experience’ and signed a huge number of autographs.I want to be part of Barça historyDouglas clearly enjoyed the whole experience and managed to see every one of the Museum’s prize exhibits, such as shirts worn by Kubala, Maradona and Laudrup, Koeman and Belletti’s boots (the ones he scored the Paris CL final goal with) and gloves signed by Victor Valdés.

Douglas was particularly impressed by the four Champions League trophies and Lionel Messi’s four Golden Ball awards.  “I like everything in the Museum.  I’m very happy to be part of this Club and with the way I’ve been welcomed.  I really like the history of Barça and I want to be part of it”.I’m very happy to be part of this Club and with the way I’ve been welcomed.  At the end of his tour, the Brazilian emphasised his impatient to start adding further silverware to the Club’s trophy cabinet.  “Seeing everything that Messi and co have won, I’m even happier to be part of this group and to be able to help”.
