Jérémy Mathieu made his return to the full French side on Sunday, playing the full 90 minutes of  Didier Deschamps’ team’s friendly against Serbia in Belgrade as part of a three man defence alongside  Varane and Sagna.

After beating Spain last Thursday, France had to be content with a 1-1 draw as they continue preparations for the 2016 European Championships. France went a head from the impressive Pogba on 11 minutes, but Kolarov got the equaliser for Serbia on 80 minutes with a ferocious 30 yard effort .
