The B team has got its Second Division campaign off to a fine start with seven goals in three games. Jean Marie Dongou got a brace a week ago against Sabadell and added a further two on Sunday against Zaragoza.
The 19 year old was not away on international duty and was thus available for selection by Eusebio Sacristán for both games, a 3-1 win against Sabadell and a spectacular 4-1 defeat of Zaragoza.
Speaking to Barça TV and www.fcbarcelona.com after the latter of the two games, he said “I am very happy on a personal level, but most of all for the team.”
Dongou has moved to the top of the Second Division goalscoring charts alongside former Barça player Sergio Araújo, now at Las Palmas. They both have four, and are followed on three by Rubén Castro (Betis), Borja Lázaro (Leganés) and Yuri (Ponferradina).
