Sergio Busquets, nominee for best midfielder of La Liga 2013/14

Sergio Busquets is one of the three candidates to be named Liga Midfielder of the Year 2013/14. He has been nominated along with Atlético’s  Gabi and Real Madrid’s Modric, and the winner will be revealed at the LFP Awards Gala that presents trophies to the best players in both the first and second divisions of Spanish football.

It was also announced on Wednesday that Sergi Samper of Barça B is in the running for the Liga Adelante Midfielder of the Year 2013/14. The other nominees are Juan Domínguez of Deportivo and Carlos Pita of Lugo.
